The Eliots Green Reunion ClubWhy is this necessary? When the June 2000 reunion was being organised, we realised that it was necessary to have a bank account to hold the substantial sums of money involved. We discovered that we could enjoy ‘free’ banking as long as the bank account referred to a club name, hence Eliots Green Reunion Club (EGRC) was founded. MembersThe constitution of EGRC was and still is a fairly ad-hoc arrangement and perhaps one day it will be formalised, but at the time it was deemed that everyone who ever attended Eliots Green in any capacity (pupils, teaching or administrative) automatically became an ordinary member. Those who assisted in the reunion planning committee became executive members. BoardCurrent board membership comprises myself (Paul Gleave) as the chairman, Bob Carter as the Club Secretary, and Paul Innes as Treasurer. A quorum is in effect provided that at least two board members and three executive members are present. EGRC is a dormant entity until the time comes for the next large event - then it will be restructured accordingly. |
